SmokeBloq Wi-Fi Meat Thermometer
Product QuickStart partnered with SmokeBloq to develop a smart cooking device designed to give outdoor cooks greater control and visibility while grilling or smoking meat. The SmokeBloq system is a Wi-Fi–enabled meat thermometer that connects to a mobile app, allowing users to monitor cooking temperatures remotely and receive alerts when food reaches the desired temperature.
The compact device connects to temperature probes placed in the meat and the grill or smoker environment, transmitting real-time temperature data through a home Wi-Fi network to a smartphone. This cloud-connected approach enables virtually unlimited monitoring range and helps users maintain precise cooking temperatures during long smoking sessions without constantly checking the grill.
Product QuickStart led the industrial design, mechanical engineering, prototyping, and product development of the SmokeBloq hardware. Our team also coordinated manufacturing with the factory, helping transition the design into a production-ready consumer product built to withstand outdoor cooking environments while remaining easy to use and visually distinctive.
